Drink Beer and Laugh

Attention area beer enthusiasts (21 and over), if you are looking for a fun way to spend your Saturday, then the 14th Annual BrewHaHa is the party for you. This year the event brings around 200 different beers to sample, one delicious ounce at a time. Covering a wide range of beers, porters, ales and lagers from local, regional and national breweries, so get your taste buds ready.

According to Davenport Jaycee member Amy Jones, this event could not go on without the continued support of the event volunteers, and the dedicated members of the Davenport Jaycees. Proceeds from this event go to local charities such as the Jaycee Santa, bring gifts to under privileged families all over the area.

This year, while beer sampling, one can look forward to the musical stylings of “Corporate Rock” playing a little bit of something for everyone. To add the HaHa to BrewHaHa, Davenport Jaycees welcomes back improv comedy troupe “The Blacklist” with their uncensored, witty show that’ll leave event goers laughing out loud.

The BrewHaHa is being held at Leclaire Park in Davenport on September 20, 1 to 5p.m. Tickets are available for $30.00 online at http://www.davenportjaycee.com/brewhaha.html, Old Chicago Pizza in Bettendorf and Coop Records in Moline. Tickets are also available the day of the event for $35.00. Reminder, this is for those who are 21 and over only; bring valid ID.
