ISIS expands into Somali, Nigeria and cyber territories

Early in March, news reports told of Nigerian jihadist group Boko Haram pledging allegiance to ISIS. Shortly before Boko Haram made their announcement, Al-Jazeera reported that an ISIS emissary sent a message to Somolia asking al-Shabaab to do the same. A group calling itself the Islamic State Hacking Division expanded into cyber territory by releasing personal information about members of the air force, army, and navy for jihadists to take action wherever they are.

Sergeant Meyers brings mind over muscle to BHC Police

Black Hawk College’s Police Department added Mindy Meyers to the force at the end of last year.
Sergeant Meyers had been employed at the Sherriff Department for sixteen years in Rock Island. She’s worked as an investigator, a negotiator, a school resource officer, and has also been involved in the Project Lifesaver International.
